Space Saving Banquettes

Banquettes are the perfect solution for seating in a crowded space.  A custom piece can be made to fit a bay window area, small breakfast nook or a cramped corner.

The main space saving characteristic is that a banquette set against the wall takes up less space than an arrangement of chairs around a table.  This is because the banquette does not require the clearance that a chair needs to be pushed out.  In a bay window, some people are concerned with blocking the view with a high backed seating piece.  A custom banquette can be made with a lower back so that it does not block any windows that it sits up against.

A banquette and table arrangement can create a versatile space saving solution perfect for dining, reading, doing homework, or just relaxing.
